Will Relief Scotland

MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE WHEN YOU DO A WILL WITH WILL RELIEF SCOTLAND.......

Through Will Relief Scotland your Will is drawn up by one of our participating Solicitors who have generously agreed to provide this service free of charge in September. Instead of paying for the Will you will be invited to make a donation to the Will Relief Scotland Charities.

You will not only gain the peace of mind from knowing that you have provided for your family and loved ones, but your donation will help the member charities transform the lives of hundreds of people, families and children in the world’s poorest places.

WHAT IS WILL RELIEF SCOTLAND?

A partnership between Scottish Solicitors and four charities based in Scotland specialising in development work and the relief of poverty overseas.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

During the month of September the participating solicitors will give up their fees for making wills in return for a donation to the four charities.

Make an appointment now to see one of them.

IT COULD NOT BE SIMPLER

MEMBER ORGANISATIONS

Blythswood Care SC021848 combines the Christian message with practical help for those in need at home and abroad, regardless of their political or religious beliefs or ethnic origins. We have been working in India since 2004 supporting projects working with orphaned and abandoned children and those with special needs as well as providing essential aid in times of disasters. The income from the 2011 campaign went towards the costs of providing a specialist disability centre in Kerala, India, for differently abled children. The centre opened in February 2012 and gives children the opportunity for learning tailored to their needs. Teacher training also takes place with some going to other parts of India to meet educational needs in communities with no specialist education.

EMMS International SC032327, works in partnership with communities in the poorest parts of the world, transforming lives and improving life chances through effective and sustainable health and education. Working with local Christian organisations, we support hospitals, primary healthcare, community health and schools. During 2011, this included major improvements at Embangweni Hospital, Malawi, benefiting over 100,000 people.
Mission Aviation Fellowship SC039107 is a Christian agency flying more than 130 light aircraft to some of the most inhospitable and remote parts of over 30 developing countries. MAF supports mission and relief agencies and churches, meeting physical, spiritual and humanitarian needs of some of the most deprived people in the world.
Signpost International SCO38850 is a Christian development agency committed to bringing an end to poverty – tackling its effects and root causes – in some of the world’s poorest communities. Signpost responds to poverty purely on the basis of need, working through local partner organisations to empower people to make the most of their existing skills and resources, so they can create their own sustainable solutions to the problems they face.
One of Signpost International’s current programmes works with former refugees in the poor, rural north-east region of Uganda. Ripped apart by war for many decades, Signpost is now helping to create farming co-operatives in local villages, teaching traditional farming skills and providing ‘starter packs’ of seed and equipment that provide a springboard for these villagers to become independent and self-sufficient - food secure throughout the year.
